The Larese Group is a member of the Chemistry Department at the University of Tennessee and the Chemical Science Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

The interests of the group span from basic science projects in physics and chemistry to applied projects in catalysts and enviromental sciences. For more ... click here!

One of the strengths of the Larese Group is the independence of our research. While we do collaborate on a global scale with many great researchers, all aspects of our research are handled within our group. We design and build our own instruments, synthesize and prepare our own samples, and travel to the user facilities to carry out our X-ray and neutron experiments (if required).
